{"id":24002,"date":"2020-05-28T21:02:56","date_gmt":"2020-05-28T21:02:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/suddath.com\/?post_type=resource&#038;p=24002"},"modified":"2024-07-29T10:38:43","modified_gmt":"2024-07-29T14:38:43","slug":"400ng-international-tender-dod-stop-movement-adjustment","status":"publish","type":"resource","link":"https:\/\/suddath.com\/military-and-government\/400ng-international-tender-dod-stop-movement-adjustment\/","title":{"rendered":"400NG &#038; International Tender &#8211; DOD Stop Movement Adjustment (May 28 2020)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>To our valued agents &amp; partners,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As many of you know, USTRANSCOM issued <a href=\"https:\/\/files.constantcontact.com\/ee777fd7701\/ae1315d0-5637-4d7c-b11f-62b8d70f91f3.pdf\">PP Advisory #20-0074<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/files.constantcontact.com\/ee777fd7701\/d473c092-1de2-4b49-a9ec-9108864ca93b.pdf\">PP Advisory #20-0074A<\/a> to acknowledge the significant operational and administrative burden due to the recent DoD Stop Movement Order (SMO) and have approved a 10% adjustment to shipments processed during the Stop Movement Order period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Below we have outlined which shipments are eligible for adjustments and how the commissions will be applied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Surcharge on Cancelled Shipments<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The shipment was pulled back and cancelled from March 13 through the end of the Stop Movement Order (SMO).<ul><li>Suddath Government Services will compensate $125 for any pre-move survey performed for a shipment that subsequently cancels during the Stop Movement Order. Please submit an invoice with supporting documentation for the survey.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Surcharge on Awarded Shipments<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shipments Eligible:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The Shipment was awarded prior to March 13 <strong>AND<\/strong> serviced during the Stop Movement period:<ul><li><strong>ONLY IF<\/strong> there is a confirmed date change from the original ordered date.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>The Shipment was awarded during the Stop Movement <strong>AND<\/strong> serviced <strong>AFTER <\/strong>the Stop Movement period:<ul><li><strong>ONLY IF<\/strong> the current SMO is extended <strong>AND<\/strong> there is a confirmed date change from the original ordered date.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>The Shipment was awarded <strong>AND<\/strong> serviced during the Stop Movement period.&nbsp;<ul><li>No qualifications on these shipments \u2013 <strong>ALL<\/strong> eligible for the surcharge.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Surcharge Commissions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Suddath Government Services will commission agents for the 10% surcharge in the same manner as the underlying commission component.<ul><li>A 10% surcharge is applicable to Packing (105A), Packing Inspection (105J), Transportation (LHS), and Origin &amp; Destination Service Charge (135A\/135B)<\/li><li>For International Shipments, origin and destination services commission will be eligible for the surcharge<\/li><li>Agents will not be required to submit an invoice for the surcharge to be paid.<ul><li>If you do wish to reflect the surcharge on your invoice, please invoice as a separate line item.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Retroactively, if your invoice has already been processed, we will automatically pay for the missed surcharge using your original invoice number followed by \u201c-SMO.\u201d<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have any questions, please email <a href=\"mailto:kdinkins@Suddath.com\">Kim Dinkins<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>To our valued agents &amp; partners, As many of you know, USTRANSCOM issued PP Advisory #20-0074 and PP Advisory #20-0074A to acknowledge the significant operational and administrative burden due to the recent DoD Stop Movement Order (SMO) and have approved a 10% adjustment to shipments processed during the Stop Movement Order period.
